Yubin He is a professor at the University of Science and Technology of China and is based at the State Key Laboratory of Precision and Intelligent Chemistry. He received his B.S. degree from the School of the Gifted Young, University of Science and Technology of China, and obtained his Ph.D. degree from USTC under the supervision of Prof. Tongwen Xu. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the Georgia Institute of Technology under the mentorship of Prof. Paul A. Kohl and Prof. Nian Liu, and later at the University of California, Irvine, with Prof. Huolin Xin. His research focuses on polymer electrolyte membranes, ion transport, and interfacial chemistry in electrochemical energy systems, especially solid-state lithium-metal batteries, aqueous batteries, and membrane-based electrolysis. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers, including over 26 as first, co-first, or corresponding author, with total citations exceeding 4,400 and an H-index of 33. He was selected for the National High-Level Young Talent Program (Overseas) in 2025.
